Anima Terra Volunteers was born as the evolution of a dream that began in the Mexican Caribbean in 2018, driven by a passion for cultural exchange, international volunteering, and the desire to create a positive impact on both communities and individuals.

Originally founded as Caribbean Volunteers by Jovana Jiménez and the guidance of Nataté , the project started with the vision of creating authentic, meaningful, and transformative volunteer experiences for young people from around the world. Inspired by the cultural and natural richness of the Caribbean, they began building spaces for connection, learning, and community support through international exchange.

Over time, the project grew, evolved, and found an identity that better reflected its essence and global vision. This transformation gave rise to Anima Terra Volunteers, a new chapter representing human connection, social awareness, love for nature, and collaboration between cultures.

Today, Anima Terra Volunteers aims to create international experiences with purpose, where volunteers, host families, coordinators, and communities can share knowledge, values, and new perspectives while building bonds that transcend borders, languages, and cultures.

We believe in the power of small actions to create meaningful change. Through our social, cultural, and environmental projects, volunteers have the opportunity to contribute their skills and talents in an altruistic way while living experiences that transform lives and strengthen communities around the world.
